My Aussie Story: Michael

Michael MacCulloch

For our second ‘My Aussie Story’ we would like to introduce Michael who has come to Australia from the chilly lands of Scotland in the UK. He arrived almost 10 years ago in September 2010.

Michael has enjoyed his role as Senior Director at JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) who specialise in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Services. He has worked for JLL for 5 years after gaining extensive experience during his time at APP Corporation as a Senior Project Manager.

Upon his arrival in Australia, where he was initially situated in Darwin, he was pleasantly surprised by the positivity and friendliness displayed by the Australian people.

Michael’s Advice

When asked what he would tell those who were considering a move to Australia he gave some great tips. These included doing your research first, starting with a 1 year plan to get yourself of the ground and running and then just do it.

He went on to say that Australia is truly an amazing country with equally as amazing people, there is fantastic, the country offers fantastic opportunities for those who take the time and go out looking for them.

Michael passionately believes that there is no better place to live.
